Dr. Williams is the National Data Analyst and Rehabilitation Planning Specialist with the Department of Veterans Affairs Blind Rehabilitation Service Program in VA Central Office, and is also a Research Scientist at the Atlanta VA Medical Center's Rehabilitation R&D Center of Excellence for Visual and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation (CVNR). He currently holds an academic appointment as Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University, and has previously held appointments at Georgia Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor in the School of History, Technology and Society and as a Research Scientist with the Center for Assistive Technology & Environmental Access (CATEA).

Research Interests:

Processes of Formal and Informal Caregiving; Help & Health Seeking Behavior; Assistive Technology Evaluation (primarily AT targeting visually impaired); Prevalence Modeling for Resource Planning; Measurement of Clinical Service Performance; Qualitative Data Analysis
