Christine’s career as a research coordinator began at the University of Florida in 2008. Since then she has supported research on fibromyalgia, insomnia, dementia caregiving, student research education, and exercise. Christine holds a M.S. in Higher Education from Florida State University. She became a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator in 2019. 

Research Interests:

Christine A. Towler, MS, CCRC, currently provides support to Dr. A.M. Barrett on two projects: the NIH multi-site R01 “Contralaterally Controlled FES versus Cyclic NMES for Hand Function after Stroke” and the VA study “Standardization of Innovative Brain Assessment.” She also supports Dr. Anna Woodbury's VA CDA-2 “Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Trial: fMRI Assessment of Percutaneous Electrical Neural Field Stimulation for Fibromyalgia in Veterans” and Dr. Keith McGregor's VA Merit Award “Effects of Aging on Cortical Excitability During Motor Learning.”
