Saijleen Chawla is a Clinical Research Coordinator with a passion for advancing knowledge in geriatrics and gerontology. She graduated from Emory University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, and Psychology. Saijleen's research interests center on the cognitive and neurological deficits associated with aging, where she aims to contribute to understanding and improving the quality of life for older adults. She currently hopes to contribute this by working on projects that center rehabilitation and optimize recovery scope in patients suffering from spatial neglect. In the future, Saijleen plans to apply to MD and OD programs and specialize in ophthalmology and visual sciences. In her free time she does long distance running, and recreational dancing.
