Brandon A. Jones is a study coordinator with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Hampton University. After graduating, he went on to further his education at University of North Carolina at Greensboro receiving a post-baccalaureate certificate from the Biology/Pre-PA program. After working as a phlebotomist for a few years at Emory Healthcare, he moved on to Emory University working for the School of Nursing as a Clinical Research Coordinator for a study involving participants with a brain health illness called Mild Cognitive Impairment. The goal of the study was to improve sleep in participants suffering from MCI & Alzheimer’s disease. Since then, he has now transitioned to working for the VA at the Center of Visual and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation under Dr. Arash Harzand’s direction for the Smart MOVE study. His focus with this study is to use his prior knowledge of Exercise Science & physical therapy mechanisms to improve the health of participants with Peripheral Arterial Disease through Home-based Exercise Therapy. He will also assist in working with Physical Exercise Core with Dr. Joe Nocera & Kevin Mammino for several other exercise studies.
