Mychaela is a clinical research coordinator working with Dr. Michael Dattilo at the Atlanta VA Center for Visual & Neurocognitive Rehabilitation. She completed her undergraduate degree at East Carolina University where she received a B.S. in Neuroscience & Psychology. During her undergraduate tenure, she worked as a research assistant in Dr. Tuan Tran's behavioral neuroscience laboratory. The research examined behavioral & cognitive deficits in triple-transgenic (3xTg-AD) mice using eyeblink classical conditioning. Afterward, she received an M.S. in Neuroscience from Georgia State University where she worked as a research assistant in the Anxiety Research & Treatment Lab. She conducted clinical research looking at the role of outcome probability bias in individuals with social anxiety disorder
